The first rail freeway in Spain, which will link Valencia and Madrid, will begin operating in the first week of July 2024. This new rail service, called Autopista Ferroviaria Puerto de Valencia-Madrid Abroñigal, seeks to improve the efficiency of freight transport between these two cities and establish a strategic bridge to Italy.
On 17th April, the "Family Business in the Classroom" project, promoted by the Association of Family Business Owners (ACEFAM) and with the collaboration of Grupo Armando Alvarez, brought knowledge and dynamism to the CEIP José María de Pereda school in Torrelavega, with the aim of educating children about the importance of family businesses in our business landscape.

This prestigious award was presented by CEOE-CEPYME during an outstanding ceremony held yesterday 9th November.

The agricultural sector joins once again to celebrate the solidarity campaign "Wrap it up in pink" which was launched in 2018 and has reached a significant achievement of 15,000 € in its fifth edition, 2022. ASPLA is proud to contribute with this campaign to research in the fight against breast cancer, with an accumulated figure of donations amounting to €60,000.
These innovative greenhouse covers feature the advanced Iyris® technology, developed by RedSea, which allows greenhouse temperature control and is incorporated into the 100% recyclable covers produced by Armando Alvarez Group, saving water and energy as well as improving crop profitability in high temperature areas.

Armando Alvarez Group celebrates having received from the Spanish Association of Plastics Industry (ANAIP, for its acronym in English), the Spanish and Sustainable Plastics Industry seal in the category of Excellence, which has been officially presented today June 5, 2023, on the occasion of the World Environment Day. This seal, a certification mark registered at EU level, recognises the work and commitment of the companies that make up the plastics sector in the interests of sustainability.
